Let us look upon a freedom from the power of tyrants as a blessing that cannot be purchased too dear, and let us bless God that …

The Gospel of Guns (and God)
Source: www.ministrytodaymag.com, July 2009
After weeks of media hype and buildup, a Pentecostal pastor in Kentucky fulfilled his vision last Saturday by seeing his church full of people praising … and packing heat. Only for Ken Pagano, pastor of New Bethel Church in Louisville, Ky., this was less about praising God and more about celebrating a Second Amendment right to carry firearms.
The American Creed: 'We Hold These Truths...'
Source: www.breakpoint.org, Chuck Colson, 7/3/2009
The great British intellectual G. K. Chesterton wrote that “America is the only nation in the world that is founded on [a] creed.” Think about that for a moment. Other nations were founded on the basis of race, or by the power of kings or emperors who accumulated lands and the peasants who inhabited those lands.
Resources and Policy Articles on Hate Crimes Legislation
Source: www.frc.org
Hate crimes legislation is really "thought crime" legislation because it penalizes politically-incorrect beliefs, attitudes, and thoughts, rather than actual crimes. FRC abhors violence against anyone, but opposes "thought crime" legislation because it undermines the freedom of speech and religious belief that is at the heart of our democracy. Listed below are several resources produced by FRC that will help you gain a better understanding of this issue.

Source: www.evolutionnews.org, Casey Luskin on June 29, 2009
In March, I blogged about how the National Center for Science Education (NCSE) usually tries to project a religion-friendly image, but somehow their “talking points” they released for Texas State Board of Education meeting in January advocated that activists press the SBOE to adopt scientism as the state’s official ideology and expressly deny the existence of the supernatural as a matter of state education policy.

Contemporary corporate and institutional healthcare plans in the United States work against free market forces and subsidize poor health in America. Large risk pools associated with corporations and institutions remove the financial consequences of risky behaviors that lead to poor health, higher healthcare demand, and higher healthcare cost.

Their concern is massive ad blitz on Christian and country-music stations across 10 states. The ads, funded by a left-leaning coalition, urge support for congressional legislation to curb greenhouse-gas emissions -- by framing the issue as an urgent matter of Biblical morality.
