“In the 2006 mid-term elections, nearly six in ten young voters chose the
Democratic candidate for
the House of Representatives elections, which was higher by six percentage points when compared to the entire electorate. This represents the greatest level of support for  House Democratic candidates among young people in the last eight elections"

Political Thought of Young Voters

Rush Limbaugh is wrong.  The data and many experts agree, when it comes to young people, the momentum is in favor of the progressive political ideology.  The question is why, whether or not the trend is good or bad , and will it continue?

Clint Chegin, Chairman, UT Chapter of Texas Young Conservatives and Dan Smithwick, Founder and President of Nehemiah Institute will us at 4pm, Sunday, August 31st, as we discuss the trends and the political thought of young people.

Dan created the PEERS Test which has been used with High School students over the last 20 years.  Read more on our web-site and take the PEERS Test, then join us on Sunday, August 31st @ 4 pm on the Word, 99.3 FM in Austin.

We'll take your calls on The Youth Vote, the Democratic National Convention, and GOP VP nominee, Sarah Palin, Gov. Alaska.
